Rifle Triggers

The trigger is where you meet the rifle. A clean, predictable break with little creep and a fast reset makes it easier to shoot the accuracy your barrel and action are capable of. As an authorized dealer for TriggerTech, Timney, Jewell, Bix'n Andy, Kidd and Volquartsen, we carry drop-in rifle triggers, trigger kits and parts for the Ruger 10/22, CZ 457, Remington 700, Tikka, Savage and more.

Made in the USA

A Better Trigger Needs a Solid Foundation

A crisp break only pays off when the action stays put. If the action shifts in the stock, the trigger cannot make up for it. Pete's Pillars bedding pillars lock the action to the stock so every clean break lands where you aimed.

Choosing a Rifle Trigger

Drop-in group or trigger job kit

A drop-in trigger, like a TriggerTech, Timney or Volquartsen TG2000, replaces the entire fire control unit. A trigger job kit or spring kit upgrades the parts inside your factory group for less money.

Single stage or two stage

A single stage trigger breaks cleanly with no take-up, which many rimfire and field shooters prefer. A two stage trigger adds a light first stage before a defined wall, a favorite for precision and positional shooting.

Pull weight and reliability

Lighter is not always better. Choose a weight you can control from every position you shoot, stay within the manufacturer's specified range, and always function check the rifle after installation. Hunting rifles that see cold, dirt and rough handling deserve a little more weight.

Finish the build

A great trigger pairs naturally with a match-grade barrel, a competition bolt and a rifle chassis or pillar-bedded stock.

Rifle Trigger FAQ

Is a drop-in rifle trigger hard to install?

Most drop-in rifle triggers install with basic tools and the manufacturer's instructions. If you are not comfortable working on fire control parts, have a qualified gunsmith install it, and always function check the rifle afterward.

Should I choose a single stage or two stage trigger for NRL22 or PRS?

Both are common. Two stage triggers are popular for positional shooting because the first stage lets you settle before the break. Single stage triggers suit shooters who want a short, clean pull with no take-up.

Can I lighten my factory trigger with springs?

Yes, on many rifles. Spring kits and trigger job kits reduce pull weight and improve feel without replacing the whole group. Stay within the manufacturer's recommended range for reliable ignition and safe reset.

Will a 10/22 trigger fit my Takedown or Charger?

Many 10/22 trigger groups and kits are listed for the 10/22, Takedown and Charger. Check the fitment notes on each listing before ordering.
