WOOX FAQ
What makes WOOX stocks different?
WOOX combines real wood furniture with internal aluminum chassis construction. The Exactus is designed to bring traditional materials and precision-oriented ergonomics together rather than choosing one over the other.
Is the WOOX Exactus available for the Ruger 10/22?
Yes. WOOX makes an Exactus variant for compatible standard Ruger 10/22 actions. Exact fitment depends on the action and configuration, including aftermarket receivers. Check the individual listing before ordering.
Does a WOOX Exactus need bedding pillars?
The Exactus uses an integrated aluminum chassis and is designed as a drop-in stock for compatible rifles. It does not normally require separate pillar bedding. Our pillar kits are intended for other bedding applications where they are appropriate.
Should I choose WOOX or MDT?
It depends on what you want from the rifle. WOOX is a strong choice for the feel and appearance of hardwood over an engineered chassis. MDT offers a more utilitarian selection of field stocks and precision chassis, with features and fitment that vary by model. Compare the Exactus and Ruger 10/22 Field Stock for two distinct approaches.
