Choosing a Green Mountain Barrel
Match the rifle first
Barrels are platform-specific. The Green Mountain Ruger 10/22 options shown here are not interchangeable with a CZ 457 barrel. Start with the exact rifle and model, then compare the compatible products.
Contour changes stock fit
A .920 bull barrel needs a matching barrel channel in the stock or chassis. Sporter and heavy-taper barrels use different contours and should not be assumed to fit the same stock without checking clearance.
Choose length, finish and threading
Green Mountain offers different lengths, stainless and blued finishes, and threaded or unthreaded configurations. Review the individual listing for the specifications that matter to your build.

Will a .920 Green Mountain barrel fit a standard Ruger 10/22 stock?
A .920 bull barrel needs enough clearance in the stock's barrel channel. Do not assume a factory sporter channel is wide enough; check the stock or chassis specifications.
Are all Green Mountain barrels fluted or threaded?
No. Fluting, muzzle threads, finish and contour vary by model. Compare the individual listings to find the combination you want.
