Building With Pete's Pillars
Start with the foundation
Action screws clamp the action against the stock. In wood or polymer, that material can compress and shift, and torque varies from shot to shot. Pillar bedding gives the action screws a solid, repeatable foundation so your zero stays put.
Build out your CZ 457
Our CZ upgrades work together: a match barrel, a Picatinny rail, a billet bolt knob and the small action parts that sharpen the factory rifle.

Pete's Pillars FAQ
What is pillar bedding?
Pillar bedding sets solid pillars into the stock around the action screws. The action screws then clamp against the pillars instead of the stock material, which keeps torque consistent and stops the stock from compressing over time.
Competition, SlimLine or LargeBore?
Competition pillars give the most support. SlimLine pillars fit stocks with tight inletting or less material. LargeBore pillars suit stocks with oversized action screw holes.
Do I need the kit with epoxy?
If you do not already have bedding epoxy, the kit with epoxy gives you everything in one box. If you do, the pillar-only kit saves money.
Are Pete's Pillars parts made in the USA?
Yes. Our pillars, barrels, bolt knobs, rails and accessories are designed and machined in the USA.
