Magnesium Where It Matters

AZ61A magnesium alloy forms the action support, with V-block bedding and a free-floating barrel layout. Carbon fiber components save weight around it.

Better in Cold Weather

Carbon fiber contact points feel less like cold metal in your hands. The foam-filled buttstock helps dampen vibration and gives the rifle a quieter, more settled feel.

Made for the Field

Smooth, low-snag contours, a low-profile magazine latch, front and rear sling attachment points, and adjustable cheek height make sense when you're moving more than shooting.

Two decisions define the setup: fixed versus folding, and standard M-LOK versus integrated ARCA. Pick what suits how you actually hunt.

Fixed Buttstock

The lightest, simplest direction for an ultralight hunting rifle. Full carbon fiber construction with an adjustable cheekpiece and spacer-adjustable length of pull.

Folding Buttstock

Reduce the chassis length to approximately 20.6 inches folded. Useful for backpacking, storage and moving through tight terrain.

Standard M-LOK Forend

Low mass and a clean enclosed carbon fiber handguard, with M-LOK attachment positions for compatible bipods, rails and accessories.

Integrated ARCA Forend

Tripod and ARCA bipod mounting without stacking an extra full-length rail onto your hunting setup. Select the ARCA configuration when ordering.

How much does the HNT26 weigh?

Approximately 26 oz for the lightest fixed configuration, rising to about 31 oz with folding and/or integrated ARCA options. Your complete rifle weight also depends on the action, barrel, optics and accessories.

How large a barrel can the HNT26 accommodate?

MDT lists a maximum barrel diameter of 1.250 inches for the HNT26 chassis family.

Is the folding stock included?

The HNT26 is sold with the buttstock style selected for that listing. Choose a folding configuration if compact pack and transport length matters to you.

Does the HNT26 include ARCA?

Integrated ARCA is available on selected HNT26 forends. Other configurations have the standard enclosed M-LOK forend.

What magazines fit?
