Build It Your Way

Base. Forend. Buttstock.

Prefer choosing every part? LSS Gen3 uses a modular center section with separately selectable forends and buttstock interfaces. A chassis base by itself is not the same as a fully assembled kit.

Make the Most of Gen3

Keep the Core. Change the Setup.

One of the LSS Gen3's most useful advantages is the ability to change compatible forends and rear interfaces without removing the barreled action. Go from a compact field setup to a longer ARCA-equipped competition rifle by swapping components rather than starting over.

LSS Gen3 Questions Answered.

What is different about LSS Gen3?

Its action-specific center chassis is designed to accept interchangeable front forends and rear buttstock interfaces. You can change the rifle's configuration without removing the barreled action from the chassis.

What is the difference between Worker, Tactical and Competitor?

Worker is compact and practical, Tactical uses an enclosed top-rail forend, and Competitor uses a wide, flat ARCA-equipped forend for supported shooting. Stock and other included components depend on the specific kit.

Does a Gen3 chassis base include the whole stock and forend?

No. A base is only the starting section. Choose a complete kit or add the compatible forend, rear interface, buttstock and grip required by your build.

Can the Gen3 take an AR-style grip?

Yes. The LSS Gen3 accepts compatible AR-style grips. Grip shape is an easy way to tailor the rifle to your preferred hand position.

What is the maximum barrel diameter?

It depends on the forend. The Competition forend is rated for a 1.25-inch straight contour. Tactical and current carbon Hunting forends can accommodate a 1.25-inch tapered shank but are not intended for 1.25-inch straight barrels.

What magazines does LSS Gen3 use?

Compatible centerfire inlets use AICS-pattern magazines. Rimfire inlets, including CZ 457, use factory-pattern rimfire magazines. Match the exact inlet and cartridge.

Does switching the forend change zero?

The modular design allows compatible forend and rear-component changes without removing the barreled action, so the primary action-to-chassis interface stays undisturbed. Follow the specified installation and torque procedures.
