Our CZ 457 Competition Pillar Kit with Epoxy brings together precision-profiled 6061-T6 aluminum pillars and premium bedding epoxy for rifle owners who want a strong, consistent action-to-stock interface. Made in the USA, our nominal 1/2″ Competition pillars feature flat bearing surfaces and deep exterior profiling designed to integrate securely with cured bedding compound.
One of the most important details in a traditional rifle stock is also one of the easiest to overlook: the support surrounding the action screws. A properly selected pillar provides a rigid bearing interface, reducing stock compression and helping maintain consistent action support as the rifle is serviced and used. Use it for: CZ 457 rimfire rifles in compatible wood, laminate or composite stock inlets that need custom pillar bedding, from sporting rifles to dedicated precision rimfire builds.
Built to Be Part of the Stock.
We machine these pillars from solid 6061-T6 aluminum with an approximately .4995″ outside diameter and a CZ 457-specific profile. The square-cut bearing surfaces establish the support points, while the exterior grooves provide mechanical engagement with the surrounding bedding compound. Each pillar is intentionally supplied longer than its final dimension for individual stock fitting. This is a purpose-made bedding component, not a generic aluminum spacer.
The included premium bedding epoxy completes the materials side of the package. We source from established products such as Devcon, JB Weld or a comparable premium bedding compound, and the specific brand may vary. Our pillars are made in the USA. The result is a practical combination for shooters and gunsmiths who prefer to select the finishing hardware for the exact rifle they're working with.

Are installation instructions included?

Competition vs. SlimLine: which should I choose?
Competition pillars use a nominal 1/2″ outside diameter (about .4995″) for stocks with sufficient material. CZ 457 SlimLine pillars use a smaller 7/16″ outside diameter for narrower stock inlets. Both use profiled, USA-made aluminum construction.
Are these the same as a chassis bedding system?
No. The Competition pillars are intended for suitable traditional and compatible aftermarket stocks requiring custom pillar bedding. Most modern aluminum chassis, including MDT and KRG designs with integrated bedding surfaces, generally do not need a conventional pillar kit.
