The 20.5-inch heavy varmint-contour barrel is hammer forged with a 1:16 twist and a target crown, and its stiffness and mass help keep the rifle settled shot after shot. The CZ 457 action brings a 60-degree bolt throw for generous scope clearance and quick cycling, integral 11mm dovetails for optics mounting, and a single-stage trigger adjustable for weight, take-up and overtravel. The barrel is unthreaded.
