Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor for Remington 870 & 1100
Upgrade a critical part of your shotgun's extraction system with the Volquartsen Exact Edge Extractor VCREM. Designed for the Remington 870 and Remington 1100, this precision extractor is manufactured from hardened A2 tool steel using an EDM process for exceptionally tight tolerances and a precise extractor hook.

Precision EDM-Machined Extractor
Rather than using a stamped or molded manufacturing process, Volquartsen produces the Exact Edge Extractor using electrical discharge machining (EDM). This allows the extractor profile and hook geometry to be held to extremely tight tolerances.
According to Volquartsen, the EDM manufacturing process allows tolerances of approximately ±0.0001", helping produce a consistent and precisely formed extractor hook.

Remington 870 Extractor Upgrade
The extractor is a small component with an important job. During cycling, the extractor hook engages the rim of the fired shell and helps pull it from the chamber.
