Upgrade two common contact points in the Ruger 10/22 action with one simple kit. The Pete's Pillars P7643-BLK combines one of our Viton bolt buffers with a pair of close-tolerance stainless steel trigger assembly pins for a cleaner, more secure 10/22 setup.
The Viton bolt buffer helps cushion rearward bolt impact and reduce mechanical action noise, while the stainless trigger assembly pins replace the loose-fitting factory-style pins that retain the trigger housing in the receiver.
This package includes the components needed to upgrade one Ruger 10/22:
Together, they address both bolt impact at the rear of the receiver and unwanted looseness in the trigger housing pin locations.
The factory Ruger 10/22 uses a rigid bolt buffer at the rear of the receiver. Our replacement combines a resilient Viton outer sleeve with a stainless steel internal pin to cushion the bolt as it reaches the end of its rearward travel.
The two included stainless steel trigger assembly pins replace the factory-style pins used to retain the trigger housing in the Ruger 10/22 receiver.
Our pins are intentionally produced for a closer, more secure fit. This helps reduce the loose or sloppy fit sometimes found with factory trigger housing pins and makes the pins less likely to move freely during disassembly or handling.
These trigger assembly pins are designed to fit more closely than many factory pins. Installation may require noticeably more effort in a tight receiver.
Receiver dimensions vary, and paint, coating or other surface finishes inside the pin holes can further reduce available clearance. If a pin does not install normally, do not force it. Verify receiver dimensions and remove any coating interference as appropriate before installation, or have the fit checked by a qualified gunsmith.
Designed for the Ruger 10/22 platform and many aftermarket receivers using the standard Ruger-style bolt buffer and trigger housing pin arrangement.
Aftermarket receivers can vary in dimensions, so installed fit may differ slightly from one receiver to another.
Browse our complete Ruger 10/22 Parts & Upgrades collection for additional action, trigger, barrel and receiver components.
Always confirm the firearm is completely unloaded before beginning installation.
Already have upgraded trigger pins or maintaining multiple rifles? We also offer our Viton buffers separately:
