The MDT Field Stock for the Howa 1500 and Weatherby Vanguard short action combines an aluminum V-block bedding core with a lightweight overmolded polymer body. At about 3.1 lb, it adds a free-floated barrel, AICS detachable magazines, adjustable length of pull and cheek height, and M-LOK on the forend. Finished in Olive Drab Green.
A factory hunting stock can flex, shift and change point of impact as conditions change. The Field Stock fixes that without the weight or look of a competition chassis. The integrated aluminum core beds the action on a precise V-block and free-floats the barrel, giving you the repeatable accuracy of a chassis in a stock that carries and points like a traditional hunting rifle.

Length of pull adjusts from 13.5 to 14.5 inches with quarter-inch spacers, and the cheek riser offers about 1.37 inches of vertical adjustment so you can get a proper cheek weld behind any scope. The barrel channel clears barrels up to 1.25 inches in diameter. Converting to short-action AICS magazines lets you carry spare rounds and load quickly, with an ambidextrous magazine latch. M-LOK slots on the forend and front and rear sling studs make it easy to mount a bipod and sling.
