Designed for right-handed CZ 457 rifles, this configuration features MDT's factory Black finish, a precision-machined aluminum chassis, integrated V-block bedding, adjustable buttstock, and free-floating barrel channel.

Precision Aluminum Chassis & V-Block Bedding
The foundation of the MDT Oryx is its precision-machined 6061 aluminum chassis with integrated V-block bedding.
The rigid aluminum bedding interface supports consistent action positioning without requiring traditional glass bedding, while the free-floating forend helps minimize unwanted barrel contact.
Unlike many conventional factory stocks, the Oryx provides a substantial aluminum foundation that resists flex under supported shooting conditions.
With clearance for barrel diameters up to 1.25 inches, the chassis accommodates a wide selection of CZ 457 factory and aftermarket barrel profiles.
Adjustable Buttstock & Ergonomics
The Oryx features an adjustable cheek riser and length-of-pull system, allowing shooters to establish a comfortable, repeatable position behind their optic.
Its ergonomic design supports positional shooting, benchrest applications, and extended range sessions. Compatibility with AR-15-style pistol grips provides additional flexibility in hand positioning.
For convenient cheekpiece adjustments, the MDT Oryx Tool-Less Cheek Riser Wheels make it easier to fine-tune cheek height.
M-LOK Forend & ARCA Compatibility
The Oryx incorporates M-LOK mounting provisions along the underside of the forend, allowing compatible bipods, accessory rails, and other shooting equipment to be attached.
An integrated barricade stop provides a consistent contact point when shooting from supported positions.
The chassis can also be expanded with full-length ARCA rails, replacement M-LOK side panels, external weights, and additional sling attachment points.
Pete's Pillars manufactures its own Full-Length Oryx ARCA Rail, featuring a continuous ARCA mounting interface and two integrated QD sling cups.
CZ 457 Compatibility
This configuration is designed specifically for right-handed CZ 457 rimfire actions, including compatible factory configurations with sporting and heavy-profile barrels.
The CZ 457 Oryx retains compatibility with the rifle's original CZ-pattern rimfire magazines, rather than requiring the AICS magazines commonly used with centerfire MDT chassis systems.
