Designed for right-handed CZ 457 rimfire rifles, the Oryx features integrated V-block bedding, a free-floating barrel channel, adjustable buttstock, and modular M-LOK accessory mounting.

Custom Arctic Camo Cerakote Finish
Arctic Camo brings a distinctive winter-inspired camouflage pattern to the MDT Oryx, pairing contrasting tones with the chassis's original black structural components and hardware.
This custom Cerakote finish is offered by Pete's Pillars and applied to the exterior panels, preserving MDT's original chassis construction, ergonomics, and accessory compatibility.
Unlike standard MDT factory colors, Arctic Camo provides a unique appearance for shooters who want something beyond traditional black, FDE, or OD Green.
Each camouflage application is individually finished, so minor variations in pattern placement and color may occur.
Precision Aluminum Chassis & V-Block Bedding
The foundation of the Oryx is its precision-machined 6061 aluminum chassis with integrated V-block bedding.
The rigid aluminum bedding interface supports consistent action positioning without requiring traditional glass bedding, while the free-floating forend minimizes unwanted barrel contact.
Compared with many conventional factory stocks, the Oryx provides a substantial structural foundation that resists flex under supported shooting conditions.
With clearance for barrels up to 1.25 inches in diameter, the chassis accommodates a wide selection of CZ 457 factory and aftermarket barrel profiles, including many heavy-barrel precision rimfire configurations.
Adjustable Buttstock & Ergonomics
The Oryx features an adjustable cheek riser and length-of-pull system, allowing shooters to establish a comfortable and repeatable position behind their optic.
Compatibility with AR-15-style pistol grips provides additional flexibility in hand positioning and grip selection.
For easier adjustments, the MDT Oryx Tool-Less Cheek Riser Wheels provide a convenient upgrade to the factory cheekpiece adjustment hardware.
M-LOK Forend & ARCA Compatibility
The Oryx incorporates M-LOK mounting provisions along the underside of the forend, providing an attachment interface for compatible bipods, rails, and other accessories.
An integrated barricade stop provides a consistent contact point during supported shooting.
Optional full-length ARCA rails, replacement M-LOK side panels, chassis weights, and sling attachment accessories allow shooters to further customize the rifle.
The Pete's Pillars Full-Length Oryx ARCA Rail adds a continuous ARCA mounting surface along with two integrated QD sling cups.
CZ 457 Compatibility
This configuration is specifically designed for right-handed CZ 457 rimfire actions.
Unlike centerfire Oryx chassis systems that use AICS-pattern detachable magazines, the CZ 457 version retains compatibility with factory-pattern CZ 457 rimfire magazines.
