Designed for right-handed Remington 700 Long Action rifles, this configuration features a precision-machined aluminum chassis, integrated V-block bedding, adjustable buttstock, free-floating barrel channel, and modular M-LOK accessory mounting.
The Arctic Camo pattern is a custom Cerakote finish offered by Pete's Pillars, applied to the exterior panels while retaining the original black structural components and hardware.

Custom Arctic Camo Cerakote Finish
Arctic Camo brings a distinctive cold-weather-inspired appearance to the Oryx chassis, combining contrasting camouflage tones with the clean lines of MDT's precision-machined design.
Unlike MDT's standard factory colors, this configuration features a custom-applied Arctic Camo Cerakote finish selected by Pete's Pillars.
The camouflage is applied to the exterior panels, preserving the original chassis geometry, factory ergonomics, and accessory compatibility.
Because each camouflage application is individually finished, pattern placement and minor color variations may differ between chassis.
Rigid Aluminum Chassis & V-Block Bedding
The foundation of the MDT Oryx is its precision-machined 6061 aluminum chassis with integrated V-block bedding.
The rigid aluminum bedding surface supports consistent action positioning without requiring traditional glass bedding.
Unlike conventional factory stocks that may flex under pressure, the Oryx provides a solid structural foundation for the rifle action.
Its free-floating barrel channel minimizes unwanted contact between the barrel and forend during supported shooting, helping maintain consistency across different shooting positions.
Adjustable Buttstock & Ergonomics
The Oryx features an adjustable cheek riser and length-of-pull system, allowing shooters to establish a comfortable, repeatable position behind their rifle.
Compatible AR-15-style pistol grips offer additional flexibility in hand positioning and personal preference.
For easier cheekpiece adjustments, the MDT Oryx Tool-Less Cheek Riser Wheels replace the standard adjustment hardware with convenient knobs.
M-LOK Forend & ARCA Compatibility
The Oryx incorporates M-LOK mounting provisions along the underside of the forend, providing an attachment interface for compatible bipods, accessory rails, and additional shooting equipment.
An integrated barricade stop provides a consistent contact point when shooting from supported positions.
The chassis can also be upgraded with full-length ARCA rails, replacement M-LOK side panels, modular weights, and additional sling attachment points.
Pete's Pillars manufactures its own Full-Length Oryx ARCA Rail with Dual QD Cups, giving shooters additional mounting flexibility for compatible bipods, tripods, and sling attachments.
Remington 700 Long Action Compatibility
This Oryx configuration is designed for right-handed Remington 700 Long Action rifles and compatible Remington 700-pattern actions using the appropriate inlet.
The chassis accepts compatible long-action AICS-pattern detachable magazines, replacing the factory magazine or hinged-floorplate arrangement where applicable.
