Specifically for The Gen 2 Ruger American: With Ruger adding an additional safety position to the Gen2, minor fitting may be required. If you remove the action, on the left-hand side, you will see a shiny spot where the safety is hitting the side of the chassis. Create a bit more clearance in this area, and you will be good to go".
