MDT Oryx Ruger American Short Action Chassis – Arctic Camo
Turn your Ruger American into a more capable precision, competition, or hunting rifle with the MDT Oryx Sportsman Chassis in custom Arctic Camo.
The Oryx combines a rigid aluminum chassis, adjustable ergonomics, M-LOK accessory mounting, and AICS-pattern magazine compatibility in a system that works equally well from the bench, prone, on a barricade, or in the field.
This 103725-ATC version adds our custom Arctic Camo finish for a rifle that stands apart from the standard Black, Grey, FDE, and ODG chassis.
Built for Precision & Positional Shooting
The Oryx is a natural fit for shooters building a Ruger American for PRS-style competition, long-range shooting, positional practice, or general precision-rifle use.
Its aluminum chassis provides a stable foundation for the action while the adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull help establish a repeatable shooting position behind the rifle.
- Rigid aluminum chassis system
- V-block action bedding
- Free-floated barrel
- Adjustable cheekpiece
- Adjustable length of pull
- M-LOK accessory mounting
- AICS-pattern magazine compatibility
From Barricades to Prone
For positional shooting, the Oryx gives the Ruger American a more substantial and configurable platform than the factory stock.
M-LOK along the forend makes it easy to add bipods, weights, sling hardware, or an ARCA rail. The flat-sided chassis also gives the rifle a more predictable interface with bags, barricades, and other shooting supports.
Add our
Pete's Pillars Full-Length Oryx ARCA Rail
for even more flexibility with ARCA bipods, tripod clamps, and positional shooting equipment.
A Strong Hunting Chassis, Too
The same features that make the Oryx useful in competition also make it a solid foundation for a precision hunting rifle.
The adjustable stock helps establish consistent eye alignment behind the optic, while the rigid chassis gives the rifle a repeatable bedding platform for field shooting, zero confirmation, and longer-range hunting setups.
The Ruger American is already a popular starting point for affordable hunting and precision builds. The Oryx gives that action a much more configurable stock system without requiring a full custom rifle.
Custom Arctic Camo Finish
Our Arctic Camo finish brings a high-contrast cold-weather pattern to the Oryx while retaining the black cheekpiece, grip, buttpad, hardware, and other contrasting components.
Each patterned chassis will have slight differences in pattern placement, giving every finished rifle its own appearance.
