CZ 457 Profiled Pillar Bedding DELUXE KIT with Devcon and STAINLESS Action Screws
This is the DELUXE PILLAR BEDDING KIT FOR THE CZ 457. It will fit the 22LR, The 22 WMR, and .17HMR. It comes with STAINLESS STEEL actions screw and STAINLESS STEEL threaded rod to assist with cutting pillar length. THIS KIT ALSO COMES WITH DEVCON PLASTIC STEEL EPOXY.
These are pillars and the stainless steel action screw kit for a CZ 457 Stock.
Please note: action screws maybe threaded fully or partially threaded depending on inventory on hand. It does not affect performance or function One Way or Another.
Pillar installation assists in accuracy as it prevents crushing of the stock and prevent stress cracks. Pillars also keep the action from twisting or moving. Consistency is key in accuracy.
The pillars are 1/2'' (.4995) in diameter, CNC machined, and made of T6 6061 aluminum. These pillars are left
long so that they can be trimmed to length by the installer, depending on the specific stock that you have. If the pillars are cut too short they will not do their job. The threaded rod is used to assist in placing the pillars and cutting to them to length.
This a DIY kit. In order to utilize this kit you must drill out the stock, and "glue" these into place. Final fit and finish will need to be done during installation. A chamfer may be required on the bottom inner diameter of the pillars to allow for action screw fitment. A drill press is recommended but it can be done by a steady hand. Simply scuff up the exterior with some sand paper prior to installation and be sure to degrease.
These can be installed in manners, factory, HS Precision, Boyd's, and McMillian stocks.
I also have Upgraded Action Screws and kit for the cz 455 457, and pillars and screws by themselves.
These will only fit the CZ 455 because of the notch for the magazine well. I have other pillars that will fit other actions such as the Remington 700 and mosin nagant.
May fit other rifles that are rimfire, such as ruger, 10/22, savage, anshutz, winchester and the like but I cannot be certain.
