The VF10EB-B combines an extended 416 stainless steel bolt handle with a precision-ground hardened A2 recoil rod and three interchangeable recoil springs. The result is a complete action upgrade designed for smoother cycling, easier bolt manipulation, and more flexibility when tuning a 10/22 around different ammunition and rifle configurations.
Extended Handle for Faster Bolt Operation
Volquartsen extends the bolt handle approximately 0.25" beyond the standard configuration, providing additional surface area and leverage when manually operating the bolt.
The handle is CNC machined from 416 stainless steel for consistent dimensions, fit, and finish.

Precision-Ground A2 Recoil Rod
The recoil rod is manufactured from hardened A2 steel. Volquartsen heat treats the rod as a solid piece and then precision grinds it to minimize distortion and provide a smoother surface for the recoil spring.
That attention to the guide rod helps reduce the rough or gritty cycling feel that can occur in a factory-style assembly.
Three Recoil Springs Included
Volquartsen includes three interchangeable recoil springs so the rifle can be tuned around ammunition and configuration.
- Reduced-power spring – bright finish
- Standard-power spring – dark finish and installed from the factory
- Heavy-power spring – gold finish
The standard spring is ready to use out of the package, while the additional springs give shooters more flexibility when changing ammunition or tuning the cycling characteristics of the rifle.
