The 10/22 Takedown is built to travel, but the factory barrel and receiver-mounted optic setup make it hard to get consistent accuracy after reassembly. Volquartsen solves both problems at once. The carbon fiber tension barrel is light enough to keep the rifle easy to carry and stiff enough to shoot like a match barrel, while the integral rail keeps your scope or red dot locked to the barrel itself. Separate the rifle, pack it, put it back together and get back to shooting.

Volquartsen's tension design keeps the barrel straight and stiff without the weight of a steel bull barrel. The 16.875-inch barrel uses a 1:16 twist suited to .22 LR, a laser-hardened breech for added durability, and a 1/2-28 threaded muzzle with thread protector for a suppressor or muzzle device. The black end caps give it a clean, low-profile look. All mounting hardware needed for installation is included.
The barrel has a .920-inch bull-barrel profile, so you get to choose the forend that fits your build. Any .920-inch bull-barrel-compatible takedown forend will work, or you can opt for Volquartsen's barrel-and-forend package for a matched set.
