Drop it in and get smoother cycling, consistent ignition and positive extraction.
The factory 10/22 bolt is a cast part built to wide tolerances, and it shows: inconsistent headspace, a loose firing pin and an extractor that can struggle with dirty ammunition. Volquartsen's Competition Bolt replaces it with a precision-machined assembly that fixes all three at once. Because the CNC process holds head spacing to exact dimensions, there's no need to rework or fit a factory bolt.

The round titanium firing pin eliminates the unnecessary movement found in most 10/22 firing pins for more consistent ignition. The hardened, tuned extractor grips the case rim for positive, reliable extraction, and the case-hardened steel bolt is finished for smooth, durable cycling. A recoil rod and spring matched to this bolt and a recoil buffer soften the cycle and reduce bolt slap against the receiver. It's the complete assembly, ready to install. Prefer a brighter accent?
