PETE'S PILLARS | CZ 457 OPTICS MOUNTING
More Elevation for the Shots That Stretch Out.
The USA-made Pete's Pillars PP45730 mounts to your CZ 457 factory 11mm dovetail, adds a standard Picatinny optics interface, and builds 30 MOA of forward cant into a clean, low-profile scope rail.
Longer shots with a .22 LR can demand a surprising amount of elevation. The Pete's Pillars PP45730 30 MOA Picatinny scope rail gives precision rimfire shooters more usable upward adjustment from a compatible riflescope without changing the rifle's factory receiver. Whether you're shooting longer-range targets at the range or setting up for NRL22 and PRS Rimfire, the right scope base can make better use of the adjustment already built into your optic.
Machined in the USA from aluminum and finished in black hardcoat anodizing, the rail clamps directly to the CZ 457's factory 11mm dovetail using four supplied set screws. There's no receiver drilling or tapping, and the Picatinny top accepts compatible Picatinny and Weaver-style rings.
Why Choose 30 MOA?
A 30 MOA base angles the scope downward relative to the bore, preserving more of the optic's internal elevation adjustment for dialing farther out. It's the highest-cant option in our CZ 457 rail lineup, and a natural choice for shooters who prioritize distance. The tradeoff: your scope still needs enough downward adjustment to zero at your preferred near distance. More cant isn't automatically better for every setup.
Prefer a more neutral setup? Our PP457-0 0 MOA Scope Rail is a practical starting point for general use, while the PP45715 15 MOA Scope Rail splits the difference for shooters wanting some extra elevation without the full 30 MOA cant. The real deciding factors are your scope's adjustment range and the distances you shoot.
Running a heavy-profile barrel and need more room under the rail? Check out our separate extra-clearance clamp-on rail, designed with additional clearance for larger barrel contours. It's a different product from the PP45730; its listing is not linked yet, so contact us for details.
Build Out Your CZ 457
Pete's Pillars has over six years of CZ rimfire experience, with USA-made parts that fit naturally into the rest of your rifle project. While you'll find CZ 457 optics rails from brands such as Area 419 and DIP, our PP45730 is part of a broader lineup of Pete's Pillars-made components. Alongside your rail, consider the PP457FP-T Reshaped-Tip Firing Pin or PP457LCI Extended Stainless Steel Cocking Indicator for the bolt.
Upgrading the entire rifle? For a more traditional feel, explore the MDT Field Stock or KRG Bravo. For dedicated precision rimfire competition, look at the MDT LSS Gen3 Competitor, MDT ACC Premier Gen2, or flagship MDT ACC Elite. These are CZ 457 stock and chassis choices available through Pete's Pillars—not a requirement for fitting the rail.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers about choosing the right MOA, receiver finish, barrel clearance, and fitment.
Should I get the 0, 15, or 30 MOA rail?
0 MOA is a neutral base for shorter-range and general-purpose shooting. 15 MOA adds a useful amount of elevation for mixed distances. 30 MOA gives you the most extra adjustment for longer-range work, but make sure your scope can still zero at your normal distance.
Will 30 MOA keep me from zeroing at 50 yards?
It can with some scopes. A 30 MOA rail shifts where your scope uses its internal adjustment, which is great for dialing farther out but can leave less downward adjustment for a close zero. Check your scope's available travel; if it's tight, our 15 MOA or 0 MOA rail may be the better choice.
Will this rail damage the receiver?
No drilling or permanent modification is needed—the PP45730 mounts on the existing dovetail. With any set-screw rail, though, overtightening or metal-to-metal contact can leave small cosmetic witness marks. If you're especially particular about the finish, some shooters place a tiny piece of soft copper wire trimmed to fit, or a punched-to-size brass shim, at the set-screw contact point. That's optional, not required. Make sure the mount stays properly seated and secure.
I have a heavy barrel. Will this rail clear it?
If your barrel has a larger contour, check the clearance before choosing a low-profile rail. We also make a separate extra-clearance clamp-on rail for that situation. It's not the PP45730, and there isn't a product link available for it yet.
Does it fit every CZ 457?
The PP45730 is designed for standard right-hand CZ 457 receivers with the factory 11mm dovetail, across the usual CZ 457 calibers. For a left-hand receiver or modified setup, confirm your configuration before ordering.
Do I need special scope rings or modifications?
No receiver drilling or tapping. The rail gives you a Picatinny top that accepts compatible Picatinny rings and many Weaver-style rings. Four supplied set screws secure it to the factory dovetail. A 5/64-inch Allen wrench is used for installation; don't overtighten.
Does a 30 MOA rail make the rifle more accurate?
Not by itself. The benefit is getting more usable elevation out of your riflescope for longer-distance dialing. Accuracy still comes down to the rifle, ammunition, optic, setup, and shooter.
