The Pete's Pillars PP457-26BT is a USA-made, 26-inch blued steel .22 LR replacement barrel designed for compatible CZ 455 and CZ 457 rimfire rifles. At 26 inches, this barrel offers additional length while retaining the classic tapered appearance associated with traditional CZ sporting rifles. The blued steel finish complements factory walnut stocks, laminate stocks, and other traditional configurations.
For shooters interested in the CZ 457 MTR concept but looking for a sporter-profile alternative, the PP457-26BT provides a different barrel configuration with its own Pete's Pillars match chamber. It is not a factory CZ MTR heavy-contour barrel.

For shooters exploring a traditional precision-rimfire stock configuration, we offer the CZ 457 Varmint MTR Factory Take-Off Stock, complete with trigger guard, action screws, and factory-installed pillars.
The MTR stock features a traditional walnut target-rifle design. However, its factory barrel channel is intended for the heavier MTR barrel contour. A sporter-taper barrel may leave additional clearance around the forend, so confirm the desired fit and appearance before combining the two.
CZ 457 SlimLine Aluminum Pillar Bedding
For narrower sporter stocks without suitable existing pillars, our CZ 457 SlimLine Profiled Aluminum Pillar Set provides a purpose-built bedding component with a 7/16-inch outside diameter.
The slimmer design preserves additional stock material around the action screw locations, making it particularly relevant for traditional sporting stocks and other applications where a conventional 1/2-inch pillar would require more material removal.
CZ 457 Standard Profiled Pillar Bedding Kit
For stocks with adequate material surrounding the action screws, our PPCD-457R CZ 457 Profiled Pillar Bedding Kit features CNC-machined 6061 aluminum pillars with an approximately 1/2-inch outside diameter.
Properly fitted aluminum bedding pillars provide rigid support around the action screws, helping reduce stock compression and improve consistency of action support in compatible wood, laminate, and composite stocks.
Bedding note: Pillar sets are intended for stocks requiring a custom bedding installation. Factory CZ 457 MTR stocks may already have pillars installed, and additional pillars are not automatically required.
