The Oryx gives the Savage Axis the features needed to move beyond a basic sporting stock and into practical precision shooting.
The flatter forend works well from bags and barricades, while the M-LOK interface allows the rifle to be configured with bipods, ARCA rails, chassis weights, and other equipment commonly used in positional shooting.
A full-length ARCA rail can take the platform further for tripod work, barricade stages, and changing support positions.
