Built for Precision & Positional Shooting
The Ruger American is an excellent starting point for a practical precision rifle, and the Oryx gives the action the kind of stock system normally associated with much more expensive builds.
Its rigid aluminum chassis and V-block bedding system provide a stable foundation for the action, while the adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull help create a repeatable position behind the rifle.

PRS, Barricades & Supported Shooting
For PRS-style competition and positional shooting, the Oryx gives the Ruger American a much more configurable platform than the factory stock.
The forend can be set up around bipods, weights, sling hardware, and ARCA equipment, while the chassis provides a consistent interface with bags and barricades as shooting positions change.

Custom M81 Woodland Finish
Our M81 Woodland finish brings the familiar green, brown, black, and woodland camouflage pattern to the Oryx while retaining the black cheekpiece, grip, buttpad, hardware, and other contrasting components.
It gives the chassis a classic field-oriented appearance without losing the clean, modern lines of the Oryx.
Pattern placement will vary slightly from chassis to chassis, making each finished build a little different.
