MDT Oryx Ruger American Short Action Chassis – Arctic Snow Camo
Build your Ruger American into a more capable precision, competition, or hunting rifle with the MDT Oryx Sportsman Chassis in custom Arctic Snow Camo.
The Oryx combines a rigid aluminum chassis, adjustable ergonomics, M-LOK accessory mounting, and AICS-pattern magazine compatibility in a platform designed for everything from PRS-style positional shooting to hunting and long-range field use.
This 103725-ASC version adds our custom Arctic Snow Camo finish for a clean winter-patterned build that stands apart from standard factory colors.
Built for Precision & Positional Shooting
The Ruger American is one of the most practical starting points for an affordable precision rifle, and the Oryx gives the action a much more capable foundation than the factory stock.
Its rigid aluminum chassis and V-block bedding system support the action consistently, while the adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull help the shooter establish a repeatable position behind the rifle.

PRS, Barricades & Supported Shooting
For PRS-style competition, positional practice, and long-range shooting, the Oryx gives the Ruger American the kind of configurability normally associated with much more expensive rifle builds.
The forend can be set up around bipods, weights, sling hardware, or ARCA equipment, while the chassis provides a stable interface with bags, barricades, and other shooting supports.
Add our
Pete's Pillars Full-Length Oryx ARCA Rail
to create a continuous mounting surface for compatible bipods, tripod clamps, and positional shooting equipment.
Built for the Field
The same adjustability and rigid bedding system that make the Oryx effective on the range also make it an excellent foundation for a precision hunting rifle.
The adjustable stock helps establish a consistent cheek weld and eye position behind the optic, while the chassis gives the rifle a repeatable setup for field positions, zero confirmation, and longer-range hunting.
The Arctic Snow Camo finish gives the rifle a natural winter and cold-weather character while retaining the modern lines and functionality of the Oryx chassis.
Custom Arctic Snow Camo Finish
Our Arctic Snow Camo finish uses a light winter-inspired camouflage pattern across the exterior chassis panels while retaining the black cheekpiece, grip, buttpad, hardware, and other contrasting components.
The result is a clean, high-contrast finish suited to winter hunting rifles, precision builds, and custom range guns.
Pattern placement will vary slightly from chassis to chassis, giving each finished build its own appearance.
