Accurizing Kits

A factory Ruger Mark IV trigger works, but it is built to a price. An accurizing kit replaces the fire control parts with precision-machined components for a lighter, crisper break, less overtravel and a faster reset. As an authorized dealer for Volquartsen, TandemKross and Tactical Solutions, we carry the kits competitive rimfire shooters trust for the Mark IV and 22/45, plus the bolts, grips and controls to finish the build.

Shoot Rimfire Rifles Too?

The same attention to the little things carries over to the rifle. Pete's Pillars bedding pillars give your stock a solid, repeatable action-to-stock interface, and a chassis takes it a step further. Consistency is accuracy, on the pistol and the rifle.

Choosing an Accurizing Kit

Accurizing kit or competition kit

An accurizing kit focuses on the trigger: a cleaner break, less creep and a faster reset. A competition kit goes further for shooters building a dedicated race gun. Start with the accurizing kit if you want the biggest improvement for the money.

With or without a trigger

Kits are offered with a trigger in red, gold or black, or without a trigger if you already run an aftermarket blade like the Volquartsen 19.22 or TandemKross Victory.

Pair it with a bolt

A crisp trigger shows its best with a precise lockup. The Volquartsen Competition Bolt and TandemKross Krossfire Bolt are the natural next step.

Finish the pistol

Round out the build with a pistol barrel, a compensator and a red dot sight.

Accurizing Kit FAQ

Will an accurizing kit fit my Ruger 22/45?

Yes. The Mark IV accurizing kits we carry are listed for both the Mark IV and the 22/45. Check the fitment notes on each listing before ordering.

Can I install an accurizing kit myself?

Many shooters do with basic tools and the manufacturer's instructions. If you are not comfortable working on fire control parts, have a qualified gunsmith install it, and always function check the pistol afterward.

Should I buy the kit with or without a trigger?

Choose the kit with a trigger if you are running the factory trigger. If you already have an aftermarket trigger you like, the no-trigger version saves money.
