CZ 457 Reshaped-Tip Replacement Firing Pin
Pete’s Pillars PP457FP-T is a CZ 457 firing pin upgrade with a finished reshaped-tip profile. Designed and machined in-house in the USA, it is made from hardened, nitrided tool steel for durability, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance.
This is the reshaped-tip version of our replacement firing pin. The tip is supplied in its finished profile, with no reshaping required.
Why Nitride?
Nitriding treats the surface of the steel itself. It uses diffusion to increase surface hardness and wear resistance, rather than adding a separate layer of plating. Our proprietary multi-step finishing process includes nitriding for improved wear and corrosion resistance, without a coating or plating layer that can chip, peel, or flake away.
