CZ 455 & CZ 457 Action Compatibility
The PP457-22ST is designed to fit most compatible CZ 455 and CZ 457 actions, taking advantage of the interchangeable barrel system used on these rifles.
However, receiver dimensions and barrel tenon tolerances can vary between individual actions.
Important Fitment Note: While this barrel fits the majority of compatible actions, fitment is not universal. Some receivers may not accept the barrel tenon due to dimensional variations. A barrel that does not fit correctly should never be forced into the receiver.
Most compatible actions do not require headspace shims, although individual fitment must still be evaluated. Proper fit and headspace should be verified by a qualified gunsmith before use.
Stock and Chassis Clearance: The .960-inch heavy barrel profile also requires sufficient clearance in the stock or chassis barrel channel. Some factory sporting stocks may require a different barrel-channel configuration.
