The Oryx gives the Savage 110 a rock-solid aluminum foundation designed to improve the connection between the barreled action and shooter.
The action is supported by the aluminum chassis structure while the barrel remains free floated, reducing unwanted stock flex and creating a more repeatable foundation for precision shooting.
Adjustable cheek height and length of pull allow the chassis to be fitted around the shooter and optic, helping establish a more natural and repeatable position behind the rifle.

The Oryx is not limited to one style of shooting.
For PRS-style and positional competition, the rigid chassis and barricade-friendly design provide a stable interface when shooting from bags, props, and other supported positions.
For long-range shooting, the adjustable cheekpiece and length of pull help establish repeatable eye alignment behind the optic while the free-floated barrel and aluminum chassis provide a solid foundation for heavier precision-oriented builds.
For hunting, the shooter can keep the chassis relatively simple with a sling and bipod or add support equipment as needed. There is no requirement to turn the rifle into a heavy dedicated match setup.

Add Full-Length ARCA Capability
For shooters using tripods, ARCA-compatible bipods, barricade stops, or other support equipment, the Oryx can be upgraded with a full-length ARCA rail.

Tune the Rifle's Balance
The modular Oryx design also allows the rifle's balance to be changed as the build evolves.
Exterior M-LOK weights can add mass toward the front of the chassis, while a replacement rear aluminum buttstock weight can add mass toward the rear.
This allows the shooter to adjust where the rifle balances instead of simply adding weight everywhere.
For competition use, that can help the rifle settle more naturally on barricades and bags. For a hunting build, those components can simply be left off to keep the rifle lighter.
Tool-Less Cheekpiece Upgrades
The standard Oryx cheekpiece is adjustable, and optional replacement cheek-riser wheels allow those adjustments to be made more easily without reaching for tools.
