The kit includes a target hammer, target sear, disconnector, the black Target Trigger with a trigger return spring and polished plunger, an extended bolt release, and Volquartsen's MK II hammer bushing. Pretravel and overtravel are adjustable, and medium-strength Loctite is included to lock your settings in place. Because the parts drop in without stoning or fitting, the upgrade stays approachable for owners comfortable working on their own pistol. Final pull can vary slightly with factory frame tolerances, which is normal for any drop-in trigger system. Prefer a different look? Which Ruger pistols does it fit?
It fits Ruger MK II and MK III target models and 22/45 models. In 22/45 installations, the extended bolt release and sear spring are not used. It is not designed for the MK IV.
Does it remove the MK III magazine disconnect?
Yes. On the MK III, the included hammer bushing removes the magazine disconnect, so the pistol can fire with the magazine removed. Everyone handling the pistol should understand that change. Volquartsen states this kit is its only recommended method for removing the MK III disconnect.
Is the trigger adjustable?
Yes. Pretravel and overtravel are both adjustable, and medium-strength Loctite is included to secure your settings. Volquartsen designs the kit for a 2.25 lb pull, and it drops in with no stoning or fitting; final pull may vary slightly with factory frame tolerances.
