WHAT Pillars DO:

CONSISTENCY STARTS HERE.

Pillar bedding helps establish stable support at the action screw locations. It is a physical mechanical foundation. Not a marketing pitch.

#1

Resist stock compression

Rigid aluminum pillars help support consistent torqueing loads instead of relying entirely on the wood stock.

#2

A repeatable fit is an accurate fit

A properly fitted pillar helps maintain the action-to-stock interface through repeated assembly and torqueing. Proper torqueing,.. means proper fitting.

#3

Start with the right dimensions

Select the pillar and bore appropriate to the rifle hardware, bedding and available stock material.

OUR FOUNDATION

DETAILS ARE WHAT MATTERS

Pete's Pillars started with a simple idea: even small, overlooked components should be made with quality. Tight tolerance, and critical dimensions, practical profiling for mechanical lock, and a repeatable foundation still guide what we manufacture.

Today our product catalog goes far beyond pillar bedding, but this remains the product line and the foundation that is our name.

ABOUT PETE'S PILLARS

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

THE DETAILS MATTER.

A few answers that help you choose the correct set for your build.

What's the difference between Competition and SlimLine?

Competition has a 1/2-inch outside diameter; SlimLine has a 7/16-inch outside diameter. Both use profiled geometry. Select based on the rifle application and available stock material.

What does 5/16-inch mean for LargeBore?

LargeBore has a fixed 5/16-inch inside diameter. Unlike the Competition and SlimLine dimensions shown above, this measurement refers to the center bore.

Do pillar sets include epoxy and action screws?

Standard sets include the specified pillars. Epoxy-inclusive configurations include premium bedding epoxy, with the brand subject to availability. Action screws and installation hardware are sold separately.

Are pillar kits drop-in parts?

Pillars generally require proper fitting, which may include trimming to length. Always check your stock and action requirements and the individual product listing before installation.

Does pillar bedding guarantee improved accuracy?

Its highly likely. Properly installed pillars can support a more consistent action-to-stock interface, but accuracy depends on the complete rifle, ammunition, fitment, and installation.... And the Shooter.
