The MDT CZ 457 50 MOA Picatinny Scope Rail is designed for precision rimfire shooters seeking maximum mounting inclination for extended-distance shooting. Featuring a 50 MOA forward incline, this rail helps compatible riflescopes access more of their available elevation adjustment.
The MDT 106587-BLK is manufactured from CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum with a durable black anodized finish. Designed for the CZ 457 receiver, it provides a Picatinny mounting interface for compatible precision riflescopes and scope rings.
50 MOA Incline for Extreme Long-Range Rimfire
Extended-distance .22 LR shooting requires substantial elevation adjustment due to the cartridge's trajectory. A 50 MOA scope rail introduces approximately 0.83 degrees of mounting inclination, allowing suitable optics to access more usable elevation adjustment when dialing for distant targets.
Compared with conventional 0, 20, 30, or 40 MOA rails, this configuration provides additional inclination for specialized long-range rimfire applications.
Important: A 50 MOA rail does not increase a riflescope's total mechanical elevation adjustment. Some scopes may not have sufficient remaining travel to establish a conventional 50-yard or 100-yard zero. Verify your optic's available adjustment range before selecting this configuration.
CZ 457 Dovetail to Picatinny Mount
The MDT 106587-BLK is designed for the CZ 457 receiver's factory dovetail mounting interface, providing a standard Picatinny rail for compatible optics mounting systems.
The one-piece rail features a contoured underside designed to complement the receiver geometry and maintain clearance around the action.
This model is specifically designated for the CZ 457. Other CZ rimfire actions, including the CZ 452 and CZ 455, have separate model-specific scope bases.
