The Pete’s Pillars SlimLine Pillar Bedding Set is designed for bolt-action rifle stocks where reduced material removal is preferred. SlimLine pillars offer the same proven bedding performance as Pete’s Pillars standard pillars, in a slightly reduced outside diameter to better suit select factory stocks and slimmer inlets.
SlimLine pillars are built around the same core design principles that Pete’s Pillars is known for—consistent geometry, proper action support, and stress-free bedding when installed correctly. They provide a solid, repeatable foundation while minimizing the amount of stock material that needs to be removed during installation.
As with all Pete’s Pillars products, SlimLine pillars are intentionally left long and trimmed during installation. This allows the final fit to be set precisely for your rifle and stock, promoting proper alignment and a clean bedding interface.
Manufactured in the USA from raw 6061 aluminum, SlimLine pillars are installation-ready with a clean, tumbled finish and only require a quick wipe-down before bedding. SlimLine pillars are available in Smooth or Profiled configurations. Profiled pillars feature deep exterior grooves that create a strong mechanical lock with bedding compound, while Smooth pillars offer a clean exterior for installers who prefer a traditional bedding approach.
Pete’s Pillars also offers Standard pillar sets for common stock applications, as well as LargeBore options for rifles that use larger-diameter action screws. All pillar options share the same proven design philosophy, allowing you to choose the configuration that best matches your stock and hardware.
