The Picatinny scope mount designed for the Savage MKI, MKII & 93/93R series rimfire rifles with factory drilled & tapped "E" and non "E" receivers. Works great when using Picatinny and Weaver style rings on those really long, large objective high powered scopes. Made from billet aircraft aluminum and then black hard coat anodized for a long lasting finish. The *ejection port area is "cut-out" for easier, cleaning, single shot loading or clearing a stuck spent case. Uses 4 (1)TORX head #15 screws - included.
Large ejection port opening allows easy access for single shot loading and removal of cartages if feed or ejection/chambering problems occur.
(1)The factory textured finish(paint) on some models is bleeding into the factory drilled & taped holes causing problems installing the screws. You might need the clean the holes by hand with a 6-48 tap! If you do not the screws will seem too long and like they are not tighening down. Alternatively you can shorten the screws but chasing the threads is the prefered method.
